With the help of independent market research institute and statistics platform Statista, USA Today identified the top 100 tax and top 100 accounting firms after conducting a broad survey of tax and accounting professionals and their clients. The survey asked peers which firms they would recommend if their company couldn’t take on a client, while clients were asked which firms they would recommend based on their professional experience over the past three years.
