ATLANTA, GEORGIA November 1, 2022 — Allinial Global, the world’s second largest accounting association, has welcomed a new regional director for its Europe, Middle East, and India (EMEI) region, Ilkay Sarpdag.
Ilkay Sarpdag is an experienced corporate advisor with broad market knowledge and an excellent track record in managing highly complex governance and event-driven investor situations. He has traveled extensively across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, developing strong relationships across various industry areas and regions.
Most recently, Ilkay served as a director at IHS Markit, an information services provider that completed a merger with S&P Global in 2022. As the head of advisory operations for EMEA & APAC, Ilkay advised clients on matters relating to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), mergers and acquisitions, activism, and corporate governance. He was also responsible for COO functions and deputy management of the group in EMEA and APAC markets.
As regional director of EMEI at Allinial Global, Ilkay will be driving growth by recruiting new members and delivering new value to EMEI member firms through enhanced commerce, connectivity, and member services.
