ATLANTA, GEORGIA July 11, 2023 — After being named a finalist in a record-breaking six award categories this year, Allinial Global was the only organization to earn recognition in three award categories at the recent International Accounting Forum & Awards program.
Celebrating excellence, innovation, and thought leadership in global accountancy, the 2023 International Accounting Forum & Awards Program gala celebration was held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City on Thursday, June 29.
Allinial Global was highly commended in the following categories:
- Association of the Year: IAFA judges praised Allinial Global for setting and achieving high standards for its member firms in pursuit of building a reputable brand and executing profitable growth strategies.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Initiative of the Year: Judges also commended Allinial Global for its commitment to senior-level diversity on association boards and the promotion of women from a diverse range of backgrounds.
In addition to the above achievements, Allinial Global EVP of Global Commerce Özgür Demirdöven earned the Personality of the Year Award, which recognizes as an accounting leader who has the courage to take a stand, speak out on the issues affecting the profession, and make a significant contribution. Judges cited Özgür’s remarkable journey of service within education and business leadership as an inspiring example of the power of individual action in creating positive change.
Having won Association of the Year in 2018, Rising Star Association in 2019 and 2021, and the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year in 2022, Allinial Global is pleased to add these honors to the long list of accomplishments.
